2024 Series B - $85

We’re big fans of Spanish wines, and we love the ones that are coming from Priorat. We decided to explore whether we could recreate that flavor profile out of Walla Walla region soil. And we did it by artfully blending 69% Grenache, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 12% Syrah. And yes, we named Series B in honor of our first grandson, Brayden.

Tasting Notes

A saturated dark ruby color with a core that hints at purple, the 2024 ‘Series B’ displays an exotic aromatic mix of blackberry, raspberry pate de fruit, steeped plum and fleshy blood orange. Non fruit nuances of dried violets, licorice pastille, and new leather add complexity and appeal. Also of note, sunbaked red brick and fresh cigar, mortadella, tea leaf and green olive. On the palate the ripeness level/juiciness and energy are impressive. The massive entry and overall stoic structure frame the glycerol-type fruit weight and a glossy acidity. Flavors of black cherry, plum, peppermill and dried flowers persist throughout. A serious wine inspired by the wines of Priorat.

Spontaneous fermentation of each lot took place separately in stainless steel bins with an average skin contact of 21 days. Post dryness, the must was pressed directly to a mix of barrique and large format French oak (20% new) put through native malolactic fermentation and aged 20 months before being combined and bottled unfined/unfiltered on July 31, 2026. Only 95 cases crafted.

2025 Liquid Pref - $65

We love French Condrieu for its richness, complexity, and expressive character. When we first met Peter, he shared that he had not yet had the opportunity to work with Viognier. It felt like the perfect chance to bring a fresh interpretation to a traditional style while honoring what makes the varietal so distinctive. This 100% Viognier delivers on that vision perfectly.

Tasting Notes

A bright yellow gold color with a vein of platinum green highlights the high elevation and cooler site of Boushey. The nose is expressive with notes of apricot, peach, lemon curd, chamomile flower, honey, ginger cream and flint. A crème brulee texture creates a seamless palate that glides effortlessly from start to finish with exceptional poise balancing fresh acidity, brilliant fruit weight and structural phenolics. Flavors of ripe pit fruit, ginger dust and vanilla cream persist throughout leading to an exceptionally long and spicy finish.

All fruit was gently destemmed and cold soaked on skins for 2 days before being pressed. Lightly settled, the juice was then moved via gravity to barriques and large format French oak (50% new) for fermentation which took place spontaneously. Secondary was neither encouraged nor opposed with the final wine having completed about 20%. The resulting wine was aged on lees for 10 months with scheduled stirring (bậtonnage) and filtered before bottling on July 21, 2026. Only 95 cases crafted.
